Default T-56 AfterMarket Or Modded Slave Cylinder???

So as most of you know already the tick unit replaces the stock master for butter feeling shifts at WOT, but what do we do about the slave cylinder at WOT because mine just went out after a month of having it installed in the car. When i called tick performance joey the awesome man that he is said that the ACDelco **** is junk an changed the designed so they just went back with selling the stock Gm Replacement ones again since they stuck with the older design that didn't seem to have changed. So i bought one of the slave/throwout bearing kits for 159.00 an i'm just waiting to get it on the rack to get it installed to see the final results an personal enjoyment of WOT shifting my 408 an revving it the moon without having clutch disengagement problems. Does anybody in the history of t-56 mod parts an manufactures make or do anything to the ensure that the slave can handle high RPMs without leaking???

there is a variety of add ons i have seen on the web . as far as being documented on what they do is a bit grey , independent documentation is where some research would come in . most that i read buy a stocker and run it till there is a problem and then to replace it is a chore .

that said tick has an excellent reputation with their product and support .
cheers

I am very pleased with the hydraulic unit that RAM offers. I haven't really got on the car since I just recently installed this along with the Tick Master, but so far it seems to be holding really good.

There is no need for an aftermarket slave because the GM slave works fine. "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

Agreed. The problem with the stock hydraulic system is the master - we actually designed our Adjustable Master kit to work with the stock GM Slave & TOB.
