Default Help me find a new converter

I am running a TH400 in my ls mustang. All motor the converter does fairly well still feels a little loose but no signs of slipping. I bought the car with the motor and trans in it, and was told it was a 8 inch converter with a 4k stall. Thats all i really know about whats in it now. This car is a track car that drives to the track lol.. heres link to the times

Sooo just looking for some input here, this is my first auto and im not looking to spend a fortune if i dont have to. I should say the car makes 360 whp N/A and 502whp on 100 shot with the "bad" converter. I have tunes for 150 and 200 shot and would like to use them. Just incase you didnt click the link, basically the issue is the converter isnt happy and is slipping on spray a little bit.

Help me out

Thanks
Craig

Try Greg at FTI, he will custom build you a converter to handle anything you throw at it. Great customer service also!

Carter beat me to it, FTI can get you going, not "cheap" but worth every penny.

Yank, Circle D or FTI can build you what you need. I say weigh their options and go with what you like the best.
