Default Borla Exhaust?

Hey I have been looking for an exhaust to put on my 02 ws6 and cant decide on one i really want a good idle and a deep roar i was considering this Cat-Back 3" http://www.borla.com/products/produc...prod_sku=14780 Was wondering if anyone has had this and how it sounds and if any one has cut the resonator out. Thanks

Been with many LS1 and LT1 cars with that exhaust. It is a good piece. IMO if you do get it. Buy an Electric cutout so you can just cap it or leave it open w/o messing with plates.

The only reason I have it is because it came that way haha. If I was spending that much I would do Kooks with 3.5" bullets

If you still have the stock manifold, cats, and y pipe the Borla cat back is probably one of the best sounding exhaust.
But if you have LT's and ORY the Borla is very raspy and sounds horrible.

I have a borla catback on my car, it sounded great when the car was relitivly stock but not that it is heavily modified it is horrible.

I have a Hooker CB on the TA and love it! With the LT and ORY it sounds great. Not the loudest thing out there which I like but has a nice pissed off sound when you are standing on her and zero rasp.
Personaly I would buy the Hooker over the Borla any day, the Hooker has a nice deep tone and the Borla gets kind of tinny and raspy.
