Default Beats all I have ever seen

99 T/A.

When it is hot inside the car (sitting in the sun).

I open the car door, get in and the power seat will not work. Start the car, get the AC going and the seat works fine.

Open the car door on a cool day, get in and the seat works fine.

Has anyone had this happen?

I've replaced the breaker and still the same outcome!

Thanks
Jeff

Does the radio come on still when the seats stop working? Windows still roll up and down? It could be a BCM related issue. If so than it's usually an easy fix.

Yes, radio and windows continue to work just fine. I touched the breaker in the fuse box last night to tap on it and it damn near melted the skin off my finger. It was literally too hot to even tap on.

Jeff

looks like it was actually the breaker. The breaker that I replaced the factory one with; even though it was the correct rating was of inferior quality so I figured it could not be the breaker again. So I swapped the breaker for my power windows with the one that controlled the seat/rear defogger and the problem moved to the windows. So I ordered a proper one from the dealership today ($11.23). It was a rediculous price but to fix the problem it was a good investment. It should be in by tomorrow.
