Default stock oil pump.....hand ported oil pump

i have an stock bottom end ls2, tfs 220 as cast heads and a 240 244 112 lsa cam with a fast 92 that im putting together. i was wondering if a new ls6 oil pump would be ok or should i port it. ive ported them before and never had any issues but didn't know if it's even worth it. let me know your input

you can clean them up on the inlet and outlets of the pump. You can make sure the cover is flat and true. Deburr the gears if needed.

Some of the issues are alighnment of the pump. Outlet seal on the block, and pick up tube screen restriction. Once those are fixed you are then looking at volume

The stock pump should flow plenty of volume for your setup. But if your anything like me I want to put my little touch on each part.
