Default P0332 Knock Sensors

They arent too hard to replace right? Where are they located? Any advice on removing the intake manifold? Just dont break the oil pressure sensor switch, correct?

You got it man, they are under the intake which can be a pain the ***. When you remove it just twist it out, dont try and raise and pull. If you can do it without breaking that sending unit on the first try consider yourself awesome and drink a beer! If you break it, drink 20 lol. I used some GM gasket sealer around mine when I replaced them just for extra safety.

If you got small paws you can reach back there and disconnect the MAP sensor, and small vacuum line on the pass. side of the intake and the brake hose on the drivers side. I always lift up and pull out, I wouldnt twist anything. Also when You replace the knock sensor have a good look at your harness, it can throw that code too. When you put the sensor in dont overtighten it, that can break it or cause it to throw a code torque to spec. and when putting your intake on, make sure you dont pinch your knock harness between the manifols and head, Personally I put a piece of gorilla tape on my harness securing it to the top of the valley. Hope this helps.

okay cool thanks guys. Do you know the torque specs for the manifold bolts and Knock Sensor? Also, what should I check for in the wiring harness? Frayed wires?

New gaskets are highly recommended... There not to bad of price.. I would also recommend replacing both knock sensors while you have the upper intake off..

Well I changed my knock sensors today. I broke the Oil pressure sensor switch, broke the return line to the radiator, and I broke some vaccuum line coming from the TB...I included pics. Can I epoxy the radiator line back on? How can I replace the Oil Snsor and lastly what is that vaccuum line for? Does it connect to both the left and right side of the engine?

For that vacuum line, you will not find any rubber adapter like it. It is a special order part of the dealer. I just got a T connector and bought 1 foot of vacuum line and reconnected it all. Yes all it does is connect the 2 port of the valve covers together.

The oil sensor cannot be fixed and you must buy a new one... So kiss 50$ goodbye lol.
