For my friends in the carbed section that don't venture into the conversions section. Here is a picture of the 6 liter in the frame rails.

Looks really good. You're at the point where I never could control myself. I'd be leaving things off and vise-gripping things together, just so I could turn that key the first time and hear that sucker RUN. LOL

Zip ties, duct tape, vise grips and gasoline! :D Maybe back in the day, but these days I am a bit more methodical. Maybe only a little bit more patient.

I had to fire mine to hear its bark. i got a trigger ignition button from autozone that hooks to the starter, primed the carb by putting my drill battery on the fuel pump for about 15 seconds, and fired her.

I've been there...done that...or, at least just as crazy.....just to hear it that first time! LOL

The deal is I am slow. I am going to the shop now to install the shifter cable and the new rag joint. This weekend, the plan is to run the fuel lines, wire the engine and fire it up.

Fuel lines are in. If I can screw up the energy tomorrow, I will wire it and fire it up.

Thanx guys. I have to build the exhaust system next. I can't wait to hear how the 3" duals sound.

The 3 inch exhaust surprised me. It is very low and pretty quite at an idle like I expected, but it is quite raspy when you rap the throttle. Kind of sounds like the new Vettes. Check it out:

It is an amalgamation of components. Doug's Headers, Pypes X-pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers and T/A Performance tail pipes. All of the part numbers are in my build thread parts list - 3rd post.

In your honor, I broke out the zip ties and connected my water bottle to the core support. Oddly enough, shortly after that these mysterious marks appeared in the parking lot. :D

I accept the honor. I knew you could'nt do it without using any of the hotrodder's basic tools. :D Great job man....that car should stand out anywhere you take it. Ron

WOW really a great build and clean as a whisle. Sounds DYNOMITE. Haven't been on the carbed site for awhile. Tired to go on the truck site, but those guys just couldn't accept that I put a stroked 6.0 ina 2006 GMC SIERRA and put a PRO SYSTEMS carb on it. It sounds like yours. Again really SWEET and sounds great. Have you run it yet? Mine is stroked to 410 and now I don't have enough cam or stall. Keep up the great job.

Not at the track. I will need some sticky rubber first as it will overwhelm the BFGs at near highways speeds.
