I've read that adding a breather on a close pcv system is not good but what you guys do to relieve crank case pressure on boosted engines? I've searched and it seems that there are many theories out there, but which is one right? Right now i have a catch can in between the pcv ( from drivers valve cover) and behind the TB on the intake. I'm using the MCmaster-Carr 7775K52 check valve to prevent boost from entering the pcv. Another line runs from the passenger side valve cover nipple to the inlet of the procharger. I'm trying to figure out this because the dealer is saying that i have too much crank case pressure and is causing the oil pan gasket to leak. They even said that i should add a vacuum pump but i think that's an overkill, the max boost peaks about 13psi right now. I added the Metco breather to see if it helps.

Attached is a pic of pcv setup that i found here. This setup is similar to mine, except that i have the metco breather on the passenger valve cover (attached to the oil fill neck) and L76's passenger valve cover only have the front port and the pcv is embedded in the drivers side valve cover.

Thanks in advance,
Alex
