So Im stuck.. when the car is sitting for awhile.. usually overnight or sometimes even while Im at work, and then start it up, it will STRAIN trying to start and then when it does roll over, it idles at about 3-400 RPM.. will hold there, and drive, but when I push the clutch to shift, drops instantly back to 400 RPM (making my shifts VERY rough)... sooooo... I drive to whereever Im going, shut the car off, am out of the car 5 minutes, get back in, start it up, runs like a champ... WTF? only the first drive of the day... everytime. Mechanic was confused... battery tested low but it is fairly new, he suggested a yellow top optima.. I am cool with that suggestion, as long as my blowing $200 on a battery will solve this issue... any ideas? Running stock LS1 except for 1500w 2 Sub set up draining some power...

I had the same issue with my cam only camaro I usually pumped a few revs to warm her up and let her idle for a mom then it was good to go The tune was a bit off for mine.
