they do not fit according to BMR, or thats what they told when when i email them a couple months a go they dont make anything for the 07 V if i remember correctly. they said that there was a sight change in 07 that makes the part not compatible with 07.

Hmmm, it is the same differential, so I think that BMR is mistaken and probably came out with the pinion support prior to '07 GM production run and therefore did not know if GM was going to make the scheduled 'big change' which came about in '08 CTS -'09 V2 and they never upgraded their books.
The '07 gets dropped from alot of parts books for this reason and there are not enough of them to make it worth a new printing.
I think the only thing different between a '06 & '07 is the 22mm oil filter on the '07.

SEE . . . told ya . . . Same thing and we all know it . . . except for some . . like manufacturers of aftermarket parts.
I posted in another thread that I was designing and creating a 4th support.
Several times i almost gave up.
It is starting to come together. I wanted it simple and bolt-on.
Measuring, Grinding, Drilling, Welding, (not on car)
and doing that over and over and over and . . it looks like it is finally coming together.
The 4th support should eliminate Pinion Deflextion and Reduce ocillations/harmonics created in the Cradle & Differential Case.
Hopfully I'll be done within the next two weeks. I thought I would be finished this week.
I still have some more welding to do and then, drill a few more holes.
I do not know if I will market this. I'll take a picture when its on the car and post it.
It has been a bit of a nightmare, but hopefully a rewarding end.

how many upgraded gen2 or gen3 diff's have you personally broken, with or without the pinion brace??? I've said it several times before, show me a broken gen 2 or gen 3 diff and make me eat crow.
Until then stop spreading the differential paranoia.
With an upgraded diff (which J tizzle has) the half shafts are clearly the weak link.
