Rockers to put on new l92 heads
I have an 08 g8 gt and doing a head and cam package wandering who makes a good decent priced rocker system for the car. The stockers i hear are ok but man i just dont trust factory GM stuff at over 600 lift.

A simple answer to your question is, GM. The stock rockers are the best route to go. You can do the trunion upgrade for improved reliablilty but any other rocker on that head will induce valvetrain instability.
We recently did a cam in our G8 here. Baseline runs at the track were 13.80 @ 104 bone stock.
Mods include:
Thunder Racing TRuTorq Level 1 cam 219/224 .60x"/.60x" 115 LSA
7.425" pushrods
LS7 lifters
1 7/8 Kooks headers with custom X-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers
PTC Billet 2600 stall Converter
Nitto's on stock GTO wheels
Stock rockers
TR DOD delete kit
Vararam CAI
Completely stock heads
Completely stock intake
Results:
415RWHP Mustang Dyno (unlocked)
12.16 @ 113
Let me know if I can do anything for you.
Thanks,
Shane

I've had a stock rocker fail a few years ago. The side of the needle bearing cage broke and all the needle rollers flew out and have been swimming around in the oil pan. Every time I pull the drain plug there's a needle stuck to the magnet on the plug. Makes me wonder if it's a new needle or an old one. Pull the cover almost every oil change. What a pain!
We've been selling upgraded factory rockers that use a bronze bushing instead of a roller bearing. There are no moving parts. The compay who make them is CHE Precision and they claim that their upgraded rockers have been Spintron tested and stable to 10,000rpms. The bushing eliminates all the moving parts. To cap it off they use a hardened steel shaft with heavy duty clips to hold the assembly together.
Bullet proof...........
