Thinking Of Going To Futral Fm 10 Cam Instead Of Hot Cam How Much Difference Would It Be? I Plan On Keeping Stock Heads So If The Hot Cam Will Make 370-390 Hp And The Fm 10 Will Make 390 To 400 Hp Would There Really Be A Huge Difference? I Will Have The Ls1 Edit Done After Cam Install. The Thing Is I Already Have The Hot Cam Kit And Im Just Debating On Selling It And And Buying This Cam.

holy crap, talk about night and day differences in cams. the FMS F10 will make the hot cam its bitch . if the F10 is like any other FMS dyno's i've seen you'll make alot more power under the curve then the hot cam, and thats what really counts anyway.

You are comparing apples and oranges. The FM10 is a much more powerful camshaft than the hot cam.

If you only goal is to make 370-390 hp then stick with the hot cam. If you are looking for power under the curve or better track times the FM10 will be killer. My guess is the FM10 will respond very well to upgraded heads for even more power.

If you sell the hot cam...sell the springs too. Those FMS cams need a good spring.

Why not get the Fm11? I installed one in a buddies car and he loves it. It drives wonderful and makes great power. Especially under the curve.

Hotcam will consistantly make closer to 370 than 390. 390 is not too common.
