Is that the free trans brake special? Just out of curiosity, What is the reason the newer style 4l80e is more to build? I made my mind up that I'm sending you guys my trans, I just wondered what the difference was. I have an 02 4l80e and I want your stage 2 and trans brake.

Thank,
Nick

His prices are without supplying a core, and the late model core is more expensive.

Slow67 is correct.
I typically provide the core, so the pricing is based on that. If you send in your transmission, assuming it is a good rebuildable unit, it will be less than the price on our website.
Most units are not worth the shipping cost as the core is cheaper than the shipping but a late 4L80E is worth shipping. It's a $600 core deduct on those.

Just for general knowledge, the reason the late model cores are more expensive is that GM is still buying them back for their rebuild program.
