Default Speedometer issues

Didn't know exactly where to post this but here goes. As of recently, my 02 Camaro's speedometer hasn't been working correctly. Every time I turn off the car, the needle pegs out, but after hitting freeway speeds. The needle instantly flips back to the current speed. I tried the searchy, searchy button, but it didn't really come back with any results. Any ideas? This is an A4 02.

Thanks.;

Maybe try re-seating the ecm cables... Check for corrosion while you have them unpluged.

It was fine until I disconnected the battery, to do my fuel pump.

Thanks.
