Negative Trader Feedback - Sellers beware of DANZWS6

After selling him a perfectly working Monsoon cd player on 01/18/11. I shipped it off and he gets it and leaves me some positive feedback on 01/24/11.

Where he even post that he listened to my cd I forgot in there.

Then 18 days later on 02/10/11 he contacts me saying he had some issues with the cd player since the beginging with the lights not working. Why wait 18 days then?? I replied I didnt know why it wasnt working when it worked perfectly fine in my car. He then wants either a full refund or $50 refund to get the lights working and knobs that he says where cracked, which BTW where not on my cd player I sold. I nicely say I'm sorry I cant help you out cause its been a few weeks already. If it had been the same day, the next day , hell even the same week I would have helped him out just to be nice ,but not almost 3 weeks later.

He then files a paypal claim saying the cd player was internally damaged so for some reason paypal issues him a refund cause they have some BS policy that the buyer has 45 days to return merchandise!! Which is totally BS IMO for several reasons!! But I was like oh well Im getting screwed over by this guy thats done it on here before to other people as well. BUT then this guy has the audacity to send me back a diffrent cd player:mad::mad:

I dont know how you got your $$ back but I'd double check your paypal account if I were you:nod::nod: cause I got my credit for $72 since I was able to prove to paypal you sent me a diffrent cd player. I'd post up my paypal page that shows the credit but with a scammer like you I'd be scared. Well like I posted the cd player I sold him and shipped was the original from my car(in sig) a 2000 Z28. When he sent it back it looked pretty much the same just a little more worn out than mine. Then when I looked at the manufactor date it said 2001. Which is impossible cause mine was manufactored in 1999 if I remember correctly. I had pics of everything but once feedback was submitted and everything seemed ok I deleted the pics from my photobucket. Either way I shipped the CD player to paypal and they refunded my money once they saw and verified manufactor date. This guys shady as hell thats why he keeps telling me to drop it cause he knows he messed up.

Glad that the deal worked out for you. I had a deal with Dan a while back myself. Purchased a used leather shift boot from old Dano and two weeks later I haven't received my merchandise. I made contact with him several times and I always got some bullshit excuse, like he shipped it parcel post so it couldn't be tracked. Why the f- would you ship a shifter boot that weighs less than a pound parcel post, I know why because I doubt he ever shipped it. After several heated exchanges of PM's he agrees to refund my money, but I get shortchanged on that because Paypal keeps a fee on refunds. I was so burnt out with it by then, I just happy to get something back. He has many positive trader ratings, but he's a piece of shit in my book. Paypal has been known to make refunds and take losses on a few cases at their descretion. However good honest/people get F@CKED over from time to time in the name of profit and convenience. You expect us to believe because you got a refund means you didn't send him your old stereo?

According to your sig you have a 2002 Trans Am (which would have a stereo dated 2001). I'm guessing you want us to believe, because you said so the the stereo is for a 99 Camaro and not your sig Trans Am? Hey obviously we're gullible.

How were you able to produce the pictures for paypal? If I had a case like this I would not delete the pictures period and would burn this guy at the stake.

Not taking sides here but I work for a gm dealer and send radios out almost everyday for repair. When you send your radio out for repair you don't get back your original radio. They exchange it for one they have in stock. Could be new or could be rebuilt from another car not even the same year. Has the original poster owned his car from brand new? Know for a fact it is the original radio in the car? If not the manufacture date means nothing if it has been replaced or repaired.

I am the original owner of the car. I purchased it brand new and its been mine ever since. Radio had never been replaced or repaired since I never had any issues with it. I know about the manufactor date cause I had pictures of that as well as the radio itself.

I provided paypal and affidavit that it was not my radio like they requested. LIke I mentioned before all this I had deleted the pics. I wish I wouldn't have to prove once and for all this ass-wipe is a scum bag loser. I know 150% it wasnt my radio.

Long story short he sold me 2 items I posted in the wanted section,,,, i paid by paypal ("as a gift" at his request, and it took him a month and many emails to even ship the items off to me, then when they arrive one is the wrong side, and the other is from a burnt rusted up car, and paypal wouldnt offer a refund because of me sending as a gift,, he offered no refund or exchange,, also told me off several times like its my fault,, all the same crap lies and bs from this guy.......

DANZWS6 asked me to ship him the "plates"(more like a dust cover), but I was not going to spend my OWN money to pay for shipping when this was entirely his mistake.

I originally told him I would gladly ship them back to him if he was willing to pay for my shipping. This was a week ago and he has yet to respond. 3 days ago I opened a dispute with paypal and he still hasn't responded. I just escalated the claim with paypal.

I would happily accept those parts, pending the answer to one simple question; "How the f$%k do you mount a caliper to these?"

My OPINION is, if you moderate a forum that is open to the public, and someone on that forum is taking advantage of members of that forum...and the moderators (management) do absolutely nothing to protect those members (even though they are fully aware of the abuse), they are liable. Now, my OPINION is not without merit or precedent. They know about this...why aren't they doing something about it?

To any mods that might be watching this thread, I am not involved with any of these transactions but if someone is truly scamming people (seems to be a lot of proof from many different members) then maybe it should be looked into. I buy parts from users all the time and I have had a great experience every time but one transaction like what has been addressed here could stop others from wanting to buy from anyone else.

My post count and trader rating are both only double digit's and a member since 2007. So I should keep posting topic's that have already been posted in the past and not use the search feature??

Using the search feature on any forum can turn up SO much information. Which is how I found this thread in the first place.
I guess I just have more Questions than information to post and share.

lucky for me...i was the buyer from DANZWS6.
i had no problems. being the buyer... the lid was in great condition and i got it at teh price i wanted. now i will admit this looks fishy. but im just putting my 02 from a buyers perspective...

ive been fucked several times too on warranties and shit and it blows but thats today's society for you
