Default Brake Fluid Flush - How much Fluid Required?

Ordering some new brake fluild, looking at some ATE Blue or Motul Dot 4 stuff.

Since that stuff is hard to come buy, I want to make sure I order enough - how much would I need to flush the entire system?

Thanks!

If you have never done it before... plan on an extra quart just in case. the ATE isnt too expensive. The only reason I probably used any of the 2nd quart was b/c I let air get into the ABS system and had to bleed it again a 2nd time.

I just switched over to Castrol SRF and at $70 a bottle, I'm going to be careful to not to bleed out more than neccessary.

When you do it, just take a turkey baster, suck out the old fluid from the resevior, put the new fluid in, and bleed using the guide in the FAQ. (RR, LF, LR, RF) with the inside bleeder always first. Remember, you should have the BLEEDING done within the first few pumps at each bleeder valve while your original fluid is coming out. By the time the new fluid reaches you it should be clear of any bubbles and there is no need to drain out the new fluid.
