Default stall suggestions

hey guys i got a 3600 ptc stall and was wondering if this would be adequate for my set up

06 gto
tqv2
stock 3.46 gear
some weekend use and occasional strip use

i guess my main concern is that i have heard stay away from a non billet converter, but i see several people say ptc are well built ? any ideas ?

i have talked to chris at circle d and am leaning that way with a billet

you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to converters!!! I have a vigilate 3600 and a tv.2 cam couldn't be happier, runs very strong and has good street manners.

If your ptc converter isn't a 245mm (10in) i would send it back or re-sell it. for a cammed LS motor getting a good 245mm converter will allow you to run your best et and mph possible

Yea I agree, I curently have a PTC 10in verter that is a 4400 and flashes to 5200 with my curent setup. I am pleased with it, it does the job. When I had my 346 with a MS3 cam I ran a 3500 PTC and it was a little tight so I went to this setup and ran 11.45 NA. PTC does a good job with verters in my opinion.
