Default 4L60E TCC lockup switch control?

I am in the midst of rebuilding the wiring harness for the GTO and have run into a bit of a quandry. I need to come up with a clean way to activate the TCC lockup control. I looked at retrofitting a late style stoplight switch but it just does not seem practical. What is the most common wat to do this?

Thanks for the ideas. I have been tryng to out think this whole thing. The plan of using an OEM cruise control stop light switch came to mind early, but I had convinved myself that it would not work. I even have the switch to operate the DBW cruise all set up and ready to go.
