Talking 83# injectors/ 1000hp?

Will 83# injectors support 1000hp at crank? I will be running what in my sig, except I'll be running the stock crank (no stroker). I will also be running LPE GT7 cam, and meth. It will be tunned for 91 octane pump gas.

They will, should be around 75% duty cycle if they are 83# at 60psi.

Seems to me the #1 killer of turbo setups. If you cant afford the fuel for a setup like that then what the hell are you doing?! Run GOOD fuel!

i saw the meth, but come on. Im all for maxing out a pump gas tune. i agree he can and will make a 1000 hp on 91+meth, lets be honest, it is going to be on the ragged edge. to the orignal question, 83lb injectors support 1000hp, yes they will.

I can. I just need to get all the gas stations to have race avalible, and I would be good to go! I cant even get 93 octane around here, and I only know two places that carry E85. (I thought it would take off better than it has) This is NOT going to be a race car! Just an all rounded fun driver.

You should have no problem with 91 octane... My limit on a 347" was 19.2 psi and about 18-19 degrees of timing with PT-61's. So based of that with a 402 you dont even need meth. Just leave the secondary timing table active and allow it to remove a few degrees of timing if and when you get KR. I had no KR with 93 at 1000hp, its just tweaking the sweet spot thats important.

i had rc 750 cc injectors at a base of 68psi, with a boost ref regulator, also a meth kit was adding about 30% fuel at 14 psi they were 102% dc. 640 wheel threw 4k stall th400

I dont need to read a build thread to know there is something wrong if you're maxing out 72# injectors at 68psi base pressure at only 640whp. That should be about 60% dc at that power level with that much pressure.

EDIT: As a matter a fact I wonder if those are maybe 42# injectors? Thats about what they would do. You might flow them to make sure you know what you have. If they are 750cc, then there is a problem somewhere else.

EDIT again: Honda guys are making almost 500whp with those same injectors at less base pressure, and only 4 of them! http://htarchive.org/showthread.php?t=2890854 Something going on. Not knocking the car or power, the car is nice and 640whp is nothing to sneeze at, but 750cc injectors shouldnt be anywhere near maxed out.
