Default Thanks Texas Speed

I drove my car to lubbock yesterday so Jason could tune it. I had some issues on the way there with the o2 sensors, so when I fnally made it, all of the plugs were fouled. I must say I was impressed with the service I got. I was in a pretty big bind since I had an appointment set up and my car would hardly even fire.

Jason and the other guys there in the store did everything they could to help me out and get the car tuned. They were all very patient and understanding of what was going on. Jason re-arranged his schedule so that I would have time to change the plugs in my car and tune it. I have been working on swapping the engine since early November and have a lot of time and money tied up in this for a $75 part to throw a wrench in the machine. I can not even express how gratefull I am to Texas Speed for all of their help.

In the end the car made good horsepower and the tune is spot on. I got it home and changed the plugs and o2 sensors, and am very pleased with the tune and the way it runs. I can not say enough good things about those guys.

It made 386 hp and 353 ft/lb to the wheels unlocked. It is just a typical head and cam engine.

It is an engine that Futral Motorsports was selling for one of their customers. This is what it has. Allen over there at Futral is a top notch guy as well. I was having some issues with the swap and trying to troubleshoot problems when I first got the swap done, and he took time to answer all my questions. He built the engine there in their shop, so he knew everything about it.

It has Dart 225 heads and a Futral F14 cam (232/234 .598/.598 114+4). It idles really good with a little lope and has a ton of bottom end power. I am pleased with the whole setup.
