best shifter for 4l60e?

i have a 97 trans am and i broke the shifter cable and i am looking to buy an after market shifter like a ratchet shifter or something. what are you guys using in your cars with the 4l60e?

anything other then stock will need modifying for fitment

wat kind of mods? and if its a waist of time, then where can i find a new shifter cable? i cant seem to find one lol
