Default one more time with the oil pump

i have the slp double roller installed. im takin off the built oil pump tomorrow because of crappy oil pressure. any tips with the double roller and oil pump install. last time i had to pull the oil pickup tube way out and screw it back to the pump. seems like a lotta pressure on the o ring. the o ring was properlly installed last time because i triple checked it. any tips would be great!!

What kind of oil pressure were you seeing? You've had the cam in for a while did the pressure slowly start dropping off, or was it always the same. Are you still thinking about the TSP 231/237?

Side note, my cars under the knife, wish some 60 degree weather would stay here

Is the shim with the hole in it on right. It will go on backwards....

i had the cam for a while, but the oil pressure been 30 cold and 15 - 20 warm. i really havnt drove the car much since the install. the pressures bee n like that since the install. im backing out of the TSP because of stupid emissions. thats the ONLY reason

i double checked the shim last time i put it on with the pump. but who nows , i still might have screwed up. will c tomorrow. it just seems i have to pull the oil pickup tube so far front, just dont feel right. pat

I had to elongate the mounting hole for my pickup for it to fit right, but my motor was on a stand too. Ive been curious as to how people are getting to tube to fit with it still bolted up.....
