single din?
double din?
sat ready?
ipod?
your running or plan on running new amps speakers ect?

I have everything from a 89.99 single din package to a 1800.00 Kenwood package in stock depending on how much you wanna budget for this.

What features are you looking for besides just a radio? There are a bunch of good decks to choose from.

Currently running a Sony with Aux port, has red back lighting (matches gauges)
Ran like $90.00 at Best buy.
I would just go to a audio store and browse around till you find one you like.

Double din requires modification but can add features like built in navigation

I just have a nice Alpine single din... it doesn't use CDs so I just use a USB stick or an ipod. Alpine is nice because you can keep things simple and they have nice options for when you want to expand.

I got the sony xplod something-or-other, and am somewhat pleased with it. The USB function is mostly incompatible with my android phone but works with a usb stick (don't use an ipod, that should work well). My BIGGEST beef though is its 3-band equalizer. It seems to leave frequencies below ~60 HZ untouched, and those deep bass frequencies are almost non-existent with KEE Audio's basic package. If I were to do it again, find a head unit with a larger range for its equalizer. It really sounds like no big deal, but these frequencies are literally *gone* unless I boost them through my phone's aux out equalizer

sony is crap imo,,,
I have a Kenwood xcelion I love,,, and I just got a affordable alpine for the winter rig. I like these decks cause they are black (matches fbodys) and indutructable, sound awsome, and easy to use,, and have realistic useable features... im getting sick of the garbage features on pioneers and sony products. (pioneer use to be my favorite yrs ago)
I also like the usb flash drive slots... easy to navigate to songs. My fav is the kenwood as my decks usb plus isnt on the face to make your interior look ugly its on a cord that comes around to where ever you wanna hide it,, with a 4g drive i rarely change it so it all hides in the ash tray or dash. My wifes JVC is nice cause it changes colors but i hate the lack of preset radio buttons,, its clean looking do soo annoying.

I just installed a Pioneer DEH-4300UB in my 99 SS yesterday and I love it. It has an Aux and USB unput and works great with my Iphone. I got it from Crutchfield(not sure if they are a sponsor on here so please don't ban me) but i came with everything I needed including a wiring harness retro fit to our cars so no cuttin was required. I'll post a pic when I get a chance shortly. Only paid $119 for it aswell...
