Default slave cyl. and ruuber o-ring?

Alright so i had some crazyness comin from the new monster clutch I installed so i pulled the trans back down. Im guessin i fried the throw out because inproper adjustment of tick master or what ever. Evrythings still lined up clutch wise and just normal i gues dust build up in the bell. So couldnt find just the bearing so i got a new slave the exact same one that came with the clutch kit except the new one came with a dime sized o-ring and i dont know were it goes is it important and anyone know were it goes?

Check to see if the the line from your MC has the same size o ring on the quick connect. It may be to replace that O ring.
