Stupid question but.....Anyone short people find the M-6 car uncomfortable?
Let me start with, i'm not that short. 5'8" actually. I just picked up this M-6 car on a trade and I find that i'm up against the steering wheel to get the clutch to th floor. I have been slowly moving back as I get more comfortable with it but really, i'm using my tippy toe at this point.
Anyone else feel like this or have a trick here to move back and still drive properly? There must be some other short M-6 owners here.

I'm short at 5'5" and I have no issues banging gears and have no issue with the clutch pedal. I'm comfortable at the point just before my knee locks. The seat still has a good bit left to get to the forward most setting and my seat back has a bit of a lean to it also. It's just a matter of getting the the lumbar and the up/down tilt on the seat just right.

I could see it being uncomfy for short guys, im 6'3" and u would think i would drive with my seat all the way back. Not even close, the clutch is a tip toe situation with my seat all the way back. The shifter is perfect for me with a 78 inch wingspan though....

Yeah, believe me the seat isn't all the way up, but its further up than I would like. When I look to th left the piller is right there. A profile would probably place me in the middle/front of the window instead of the back of the window. I know this is all stupid but I figured someone else has to be experiencing this as well. It could be that i'm shorter from the waste down. Who knows. In time it will probably feel all normal.

After further thought, Im going to swing by the local salvation army store and look for some disco boots with the thick *** platform soles. I will keep them in the camaro and zip them on everytime I want to go for a drive. I hope I can find them in white, maybe find some pants with the flared out legs if Im real lucky too.

There's no need to push the clutch to the floor except when you're starting it, unless your engagement point is almost to the floor, in which case I would suggest adjusting it. I'm 6'6" so I don't know what it's like, but my girlfriend is 5'3" and she didn't have any problems with the clutch.

It's not that I have problems with the clutch. I can drive the car just fine. It's just that I feel somewhat closer to the wheel than I want to be or feel I should have to be. I drove a billion stick cars and never really felt to close to the wheel like in the 4th gen Fbody.
I may try shifting without depressing the clutch to the floorboard everytime. I just don't want the gears to grind when I am shifting. The clutch lets out sort of high so I guess I dont have to. It's an LS7 clutch I'm told.
