Default What tune for Yank ss 4000? Mail order ok?

I have a tune by Frost now and love it! But I just bought a Yank ss 4000 stall and mt et streets. I know the car will need a tune after the stall. No one in my area knows how to tune all that well. Would a Frost tune be ok with the stall?

I imagine he has tuned enough cars with Yank 4000 stalls that he could get you setup even via mail. There isn't a huge amount to do, but part throttle shift points and lockup speeds can become somewhat personal preference so that is one of the few downsides I could see. Might want to shoot him an email and ask about it.

I talked with him a few times about it. But he is VERY busy these days. Hard to get ahold of. I'll email him about lock up, ect...

I would personally deactivate the trouble codes/tests for the solenoids. They trip out after that big of a converter. You will love a full tranny tune to compliment that converter if you dont already have that done. Be prepared for a possible 2/3 rev limiter hit because of the increased converter slip. Im sure Frost has you covered on all that stuff though.

Frost would be excellent for this and I am positive he could do it through the mail with a common setup like the SS4000

Got ahold of Frost. Going to send him my pcm! I'm sure he'll know how to set everything for my stall.

You didn't have any shift point issues did you? I know the tune I have now is great. Just hope it's just as good after the new tune. But I'm sure frost knows his sh*t when it comes to stalls! I've never heard anything bad about his tunes.
