Default Next step on 99 z28

I've got a 99 z28 with a 219 by 229 duration cam with 525/525 lift and a 112lsa and a smooth bellow and slp lid, a maf sensor ,longtubes, and 4.10s I already plan on doing the fan switch, coolant bypass and I plan on doing a little work on the air dam but idk what my next BIG step should be. Also what kinda transmission upgrades should I do because I'm about to pull it to do some work On it anyways I wanna be able to hold around 450hp

For heads I would check out the prc stage 2.5, basically there just a ported and plolished head. Or just go with a stock ls6 head. LS6 heads you can usually find in the classifieds sectoin for fairly cheap. Both flow pretty good. As for the A4, if you rebuild it, it will more than likey just break again. There not the best.

They should be plenty for you set up and wont break the bank, but to answer your questoin, yes they a very good ported and polished. Your stock heads will do ok with that cam, but its really going to be struggling for air with the stock intake and heads. Honeslty I would prob do the ls6 intake first or a fast.. your choice
