Im wondering if it is possible to strip the paint off my zr1/ss wheels and polish them..

Are they aluminum or some aluminum/mag alloy?

It could be possible if there aluminum,but you would have so much time into them it wouldn't even be funny,your talking some serious amount of work,underneath the silver there could be all kinds of issues,imo sell those ,buy polished,you could have 100s of hours trying to do those and they could still look like hell

trust me man,not worth it,and unless you have mad skills ,and a crazy amount of time,materials its better off to buy new wheels,
