Default tsp 1 7/8 headers, need some help

i know this is not the first thread about this but i need some advice about texas speeds 1 7/8's, ive heard people talk about theres issue's with the fitment, but some say they had no problems with them. whats the problems? is everyone having a hard time with them because their motors are still in while they are trying to put them on ?

im just curious because im having my motor built and it should be done pretty quick and i need headers so im trying to figure out if these headers will be ok.

thanks for the help!

He's right, the headers are great! It's the TSP y-pipe that everyone has problems with.

Installing the drivers side header is a PITA. You will have to remove the oil filter/motor mount and jack the motor up to get it in, but you won't be the price/gains of these headers.

I would put the energy suspension Engine mounts in at the same time, My old ones sagged and just barely had enough room to clear. But even with worn out mounts, they cleared just fine with no rubbing or banging against anything anywhere. IMHO, for the $ you will NOT find a better header that offers more power gains than the TSP 1 7/8" lt's. I love mine, I am also running the TSP TD's with Spiral Flow Mufflers... I love the whole setup! Good Luck, and I would definentely buy them since the engine is out. I installed mine with the engine in, and the drivers side was MORE than a PIT"MF-n"A.
But the passenger side slid right in!
