Default What would cause no fire on cylinders 2,3,5,8

We are swapping a '01 LS1 into a non LS based vehicle. The motor in question was removed from my car and installed in this car as well as the ECU (which was tuned for this engine). Everything is the same except the wiring harness was sent to Speartech.

Specs of the motor are:
  • stock short block
  • Thunder Racing Trex cam
  • LS7 Lifters
  • PRC .650 springs
  • Fast fuel Rails
  • Racetronix 42# injectors
  • walbro 255 pump

We fired it up last night and obviously had a miss. When we turned it off, we immediately checked the temperature of the headers. Cylinders 2,3,5 & 8 were cold. If you consider the firing order it fires, misses, fires, misses etc.

Has anyone seen this? We haven't gone into to diagnosing it yet, as we started it up this morning at 5am and had the neighbor come over yelling. Thanks for any help.

I'd start with putting a voltmeter to the "busy end"
of each coil and injector, and see what doesn't match
the signature of the cylinders that do fire.

yeah it's in a different car but that's the wiring harness is the only variable that's changed. i'd double check that the firing order is correct being that it's a new harness.

It's the original harness, just gone through by Speartech.

There isn't a ground for those coils that's lose or not connected is it?

Maybe it needs a carburetor?
