Default Clutch Preference

Buying my first clutch and wondering what you guys would suggest for a kit. Are Ebay clutches any good? Looking at a Hays clutch on JC Whitney for $500. Just looking for something durable and semi affordable for mostly street use. LT1 T56

I recommended the same clutch then I noticed his car is a 93 trans am, so I deleted my post. I don't know too much about lt1 cars, but I'm pretty sure the clutch is totally different.

I really liked the GM LT4 pressure plate and McLeod disc when I had my LT1 setup. Stock flywheel, either have yours milled or just pop for a new one while you're ordering your pressure plate.

stay away from ebay garbage. your just asking for trouble. go with ram mcleoad GMPP ,something that can hold the power and still have good driveability. do your homework and dont buy trash!!!
