Default Remove open hood warning?

Any way to bypass it? I kinda broke the latch and are using pins.

theres a sensor on the latch is there not? try unplugging it

Yeah, the sensor is actually built into the stock hood latch, I forget if you have to either unplug it or jump it. One way or another should get you rolling.

I'm just gonna mount the latch somewhere and simulate the hood being closed, why didn't I think of that.

lol even stock the GXP looks better than the Impala. I would like to see a Cowl Induction hood like this:

I'm desperate to turn off my hood open light so my 2011 chevy Impala will pass inspection. I wrecked it a year ago and can't afford to fix it.
It's stays latched, but not down flush. I'm a single mom. MO money and no one in my life to help me at all. Can you please help me? Inspection is next Tues.

there will be a wire running to the hood latch, cut the 2 wires and twist them together, wrap them in electrical tape, that'll be your cheapest fix
