picked up an '05 2wd 4L60E, with plans on using it in a swap, mated to an '01 5.3. Noticed that the shift selector plug is different, but the 'other' (round) plug appears to be the same..

big question- will it work?

other questions- are the outputs from the selector the same? (I have the complete harness and '01 switch, (I plan on checking to see if it'll bolt/line up)

-are there any other differences that may make this harder than plug & play?


thanks for any info, in the meantime, I'll check diagrams and see what looks the same/different

Everything should work just fine however you will need to get the correct switch for the harness you have if you do not already have it. The main harness for the trans will be the same. Vince
