Default Advice for 4ch Amp

Im looking for a 4ch amp to power my components in the doors and mids in the sail panel. I was looking at the Hifonics HFi100.4 which is rated at 4ohms 100watss x 4, 2ohms 200watss x 4. Does anyone knowheard anything good or bad about Hifonics brand amps? Thanks

From my experience the newer stuff isn't all that great. The older Hifonics amps are the **** as far as power goes, such as the Brutus, Colossus, Goliath, etc. A friend of my had 2 Goliath XX's in his truck. That **** is ridiculous! Unfortunately though, as far as SQ, I don't car for them. I LOVE my RF 400.4 though. Its VERY clean and powerful. The best 4 channel I've ever had. My DB Drive was is a pretty clean little amp as well, but nowhere near the amp the RF is. If I can ever find another one for a decent price, I'll probably end up going with a 800.4 to replace the 400.4.

I read otherwise. I heard that the older Hifonics amps were good but somewhat overrated. The newer class of amps are the first Hifonics to be CEA-2006 compliant which means they will at least output the numbers on the box. I'm running the zxi60.4 + 1k and that thing is a beast. One of the best 5 channel amps out there and only a bit more than $300.

I agree about the older amps the better. I have a PPI 450 and a PPI 2150 those go back to 1997 lol but still working!!!
