Lots of wicked fast cars and bikes out. 251mph 'busa that crashed on his second run and walked away if you can believe that.

226.4mph Ford GT with Heffner TT kit.

224.2mph TT Viper that could have crushed the above speed if he decided to run high boost but said he was saving the motor for next months Sand hills 1 mile.

Big Red posted 216.00 mph. not bad for something shaped like a brick.

I managed one of the fastest runs in a NA C6/cam only car with 167.2.

*60 ambient temps, '2800 ft elev. w/ DA's above 3500.

We were happy with what we did and the car. out of 4 runs they were all within 1.5mph from slowest to fastest.

to be honest with you, unless you are hanging a duece it is just a long solo drag race with hours of downtime between each run.

Dont know if i will go again unless we break out the TT Z06.

Dont get me wrong, I had a lot of fun seeing alot of the people from the ORR events but 1 mile runs bring out a different group of people. Alot of "entitlement mentality" running around just because they own a Ford GT or new Z06. Then you get dueche bags from a TV show (Street Kings) acting like the rules change for them.

You want real fun, excitement and speed. Open Road Racing.....accept no substitutes.

Pretty impressive numbers Boyce! Was that in Jeffys blue Vette? Someday....maybe....it would be fun trying to crack 200. Although it seems like a glorified dyno in a way, all about bragging rights. But then I guess all racing is like that in a way.

It was in Jeffs cam only C6. Blue car is still down and the TT car is having turbos rebuilt. We could have easily pulled a duece with either of those cars.

Cracking a duece in a mile in comparison to an ORR event is a shit ton easier. Throw a ton of HP at a car and have it hold together for 20 seconds.

Your car could pull a duece in this without much headache. I know it will already tech for UNL. I'd say give it a shot but its a long ways to go for 3-4 passes.
