Default SLP Header Question

I am about to buy some SLP LT's...
I currently have a 99 TA with the SLP Y and SLP dual dual catback. Does any know if I can keep my y-pipe and stock cats, or should I drop the cats and buy some O2 simms (do you just plug these in) What would be the best thing to do?
Please Advise...
Thanks,
Shane

You will have to get new cats & at least a new Y-pipe for any type headers.
I strongly recommend that you search this forum & find another brand of header, for the money you can do better.

You need 2 simms 1 for each post cat O2 & the connect to those O2 sensor connectors.

i had bought slp headers about 2 years ago, and when i got them they came with a new y-pipe included in the price. I didn't think you could buy the headers without the y????

The SLP Y-pipe comes with bungs for the rear O2 sensors (kit comes with sensor extensions also). You may need simms afterall, 'cause without a tune, the rears may throw codes.
