Default Dynomax Bullet installed pics

Had a great exhaust shop (Alan's Discount Muffler) in Gainesville Florida install this in place of the factory muffler. As you can see, they did an amazing job, and check out those welds.
Resonator sounds mean, lost 5-10lbs with the swap, and surely gained some ponies in the process. The reminder of the factory exhaust piping is in great shape and looks to be 3", so it seemed a waste to buy a full cat-back when this whole set-up was under $100.
BTW, I cleaned up everything and painted it with a high temp. ceramic (silver) paint.

Even my wife commented that it wasn't as loud as she thought it was going to be based on the sound outside of the car.

Cruising on I-75 at 80mph in sixth gear is quite pleasant. At start-up and aggressively rowing through the gears it sounds just plain mean...it wants to hurt somebody.

Isn't that really loud? Is the exhaust note better than the stock ss muffler? More throaty?

I'm about to put a cam in my junk and I'm going to put either a Dynomax bullet in my LM1 resonator's place or an XR1; whichever has more bass. Looks good buddy.

neither, though an xr1 would sound better IMO.

Yeah, Santa Fe. I'm probably a bit older than you as I retired from the Navy a couple of years ago. I'll keep an eye out for your car.
