You're all the way in Ottawa though right? Isn't Luskville a little closer? Would be awesome if you came out though, Cayuga's pretty good.

I was out a few times last year, changed the exhaust around a little this year so hoping for a little higher mph.

I would only be going to Cayuga if some guys I know come down from Sudbury. Otherwise, it's a bit too far. But I've heard good things about it

Hmmm.. Yea that's gotta hurt the wallet! I have actually never raced myself but this year will be my first. Gonna try my TA out. My biggest fear is blowing my 10 bolt, I'm gonna be so easy on my car! I'm going to try for an 18 second 1/4 mile....

That was me,you should have stopped by.

I had to leave around 1:30 to pick the GF up so I got my 6 runs in before 12:30.

Every time I passed your car I didn't see anybody by it, I'll keep an eye out for ya again. Your car was running pretty consistent times! Do you drive to the track with the slicks on?

I couldn't have made it anyway.

My car is stranded in my driveway, they are doing the sidewalks and only have the framework up.

I think next Friday is the first night action,I may just head up on street tires.

I would kind of laugh a bit... until I remember that my own road isn't even paved. I live on a gravel road with a black car... Enough said.

How far of a drive is it for you?

45mins-hour...coming in from Toronto...I just can't be bothered to lug my big jack and stuff over, change the tires, hope no one steals my crap...then change everything again to go home. Plus the tires don't fit nicely in the trunk, so then I get all the rocks and junk stuck to the tires in my interior...

The only thing that sucks is the rims aren't balanced...so the ride is sometimes shakey (it's actually weird because some days it won't shake at all, and others you'd swear you lost a couple lugnuts)

The tires are Mickey Thomson ET streets Bias ply (so not the stiff wall ones, the soft walls)

People look at you a bit strange, but no one will ever get beside ya at a light :D

Wait until it rains on your way home, then you will be bringing the tires and the jack the next time:D

It's been hell around here since last May.

Yea I definitely hear ya, I was surprised to see some of the guys leaving their stock rims/race fuel jugs out while they raced. I would be paranoid the whole time about stuff getting stolen!

I was thinking the same! My car is bad enough with the bald street tires on the rear in the rain..

I have never had a problem there,I wouldn't do it on a Friday night though.

Its a different kind of crowd.

I have done it on Wednesday nights though.

hahaha...nono...I ate the insides of the posi out...that gave the axles room to walk in and have the C-clip fall out of place:D

and as far as rain...thats just an excuse to pull into a local bar and have a little fun until the rain subsides...

I won't be able to make it out today, you should have perfect weather for it though! I have to put new brake lines in and re-bolt up the steering column in my Nova to move it out cause my dad wants his garage back for a while... :bang:

Nice day,a bit of a headwind.

Had a blast,still no 12's I ran a best of 13.031 at 105.95 with a 2.008 60ft into a stiff headwind.

The Challenger was a 2010 R/T 375HP A5 with LT Headers,CAI,Tuning and MT DR's "Driver Sam".

The TA a 1999 W/122,000 miles A4, LT Headers, CAI,Tune and Free Mods W/Hoosier DR's "Driver Me".

We were both chasing 12's today and I beat him 4 out of 5 runs,he is a really cool guy.

Best slip side by side 12:30 pm "Winner Me"

Sam LL Me RL
RT .374 .166

60ft 1.933 2.008

330ft 5.398 5.522

1000ft 10.871 10.903

1/4 13.001 13.031

He was so close, the wind picked up more and we both couldn't get it done.

We are going to have a friendly grudge match on Victoria Day.

13.031 is definitely respectable! Is that your best time yet?
Those challengers are heavy cars! Those are good times for him as well. Is there a Mopar club that goes there or something, cause it always seems like the majority of the street cars are usually Magnums, Challengers, etc.

Well he has 375 factory HP LT,s CAI and a Tune and MT DR's at 4000lbs.

Yeah most of the time there is 10-15 new Mopars.

But it was Mothers Day so it was quiet,he was the only new Mopar.

I was the only street 4th gen(there was a fullout BB Chev racecar)

There was a C5 Z06 but he wasn't talking.

Next up Victoria Day:)
