throttle body cam swap help
Bought a new throttle body, is there a write up on how to take the cam off of the old throttle body and put it on my new one since I have an inch or two in slack in my cable? thanks

Its pretty simple, first take off at least the tps sensor(all platic one that covers one end of the throttle shaft) using a T20 torx bit(2 bolts).
Next you will need to remove both blades using a T15 torx bit(2 bolts), after the bolts are removed, slide the throttle blade out the back of the TB. You may need to massage it with a rubber mallet or piece of wood if its stuck in there good.
With the blade removed, all thats left is tapping out the shaft. There is a little retaining washer on the end where the tps sensor was that holds the shaft in. You can hit that end with a hammer lightly and it will push the throttle shaft out the side with the large cam and spring.
Just swap over the shafts and reverse these steps. You will be able to just slide the throttle shafts in (and dont worry about putting that retaining washer back on, it wont do any good as its a one time use thing so just toss it.
