Default What 6.0 is the best?

looking for a 6.0 truck motor to put in my car..just wondering what years might be better?? probably wont be able to afford an lq9 so im looking at lq4's..thanks for the help

Ideally the LQ9 is better because it has higher compression for a NA build. The only way to get more compression out of the LQ4 is to run a small chamber head or mill the stock heads a lot. Both engines are good starting points. It just depends what you are looking to do with the motor.

BAM!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect advice from the boss himself! you need to know what you want to do with the motor before you just buy parts and piece them together.
