Default Converting stock 10 Spokes to 35th Anniversary rims, possible?

I tried a search but didnt find anything.

I played with photoshop the other day and pasted a set of 35th Anniversary wheels over my stock 10 Spokes. I kinda liked it. Here are the shots:

Current stock 10 Spokes

Photoshoped 35th LE's

I have never seen a set of 35th LE's up close. I am guessing they are polished with the windows painted or powder coated. Question is, can I have mine converted? If its possible, would it just be cheaper to find a real set? I know they are hard to find, and usually go quick and and are usually not cheap when they do.

Sorry if this sounds like dumb question.

By the way, i know i can just have the rims refinished and the windows painted or powder coated black. My question is the polished finish.

The face of the 35th rims is machined. I would talk to someone who repairs wheels and see if they can do something like that for you. I would imagine they would have to machine the front and paint or coat the windows. I love the 35th rims, I say do it. I have seen some for sale for a decent price recently.

I think your car looks great the way it is. but then again...ive never liked the 35th anniversary wheels. My buddy actually traded his 35th wheels for a chrome regular 10 spokes. much nicer.

You can do it with time and patience or at least the money, lol. I have one LE wheel that I found in a junk yard and paid $75 for it and I've been looking for three more ever since I got the one, lol.

Lol good luck finding three my friend lol. I may play around with photoshop a bit more and see what they would look like with black windows and silver faces. I do dig the way they look on the LT1 now, but I guess I'm just getting the itch for something a little different.

The 10 Spokes in the link that was posted above do look pretty sick with the red outlines...I personally think that it would only work on a red car, but it would look pretty cool.

Another option I thought about was to simply re-finish the silver with a good powdercoating, and go with some customized center cap logos, like these that i also photoshopped:

Something like this, or close to it may already exist, but I was pretty proud of myself..lol On silver 10 spokes (if the rest of the center cap was silver too of course) would look clean IMO.

9WhiteCamaro9 may be interested in them since he just needs 3 good rims to complete his set.
