Default Help me out fellas

I got a ticking noise coming from the drivers side of my motor. Any ideas as to what it might be?

That's a pretty broad question to ask...kinda like "I have a piece of rope here, any ideas as to how long it is?"

could be an exhaust leak from a header flange, if you have headers. could be a collapsed lifter. could be an after market high ratio rocker arm touching the valve cover. could be a bent push rod. could be a broken valve spring. who knows? take it to someone who has some mechanical skills so they can listen to it. it'll save you some frustration.
