Default Trans Cooler Mounting

I have an '04 GTO I'm working on and I need to mount the B&M SuperCooler for the stall... anyone have any advice on which way to mount the cooler? I'm not sure if I should mount it top to bottom or side to side... and which hose should be the inlet and outlet. Not sure if it matters and the directions aren't completely clear.

You want to mount it after the radiator. I cannot remember which one is which, its been awhile, But an easy test,

run the car for awhile, drive it around and then as soon as you park it, feel the lines going into the radiator trans cooler, which ever one is "cooler" is the return to the trans, thats the line you'll want to tap into.

Reason being, since the radiator is only going to cool it to the temp of the radiator, why waste the ability of the extra cooler.

Mount it after that and enjoy! I choose to put it directly behind the driver side Grill with the "GTO" in it. Seems to work pretty good!

good luck man!
