A friend of mine is selling his 2000 firebird with a blown head gasket, other than that the car us t-top and in good shape. Is it worth it?

How did it blow a HG? These motors don't normally do that too often.

If it's a V6 I'd say no. Not sure what the prices around there are but I had a hard time selling a 1998 in great mechanical with only some damage on the bumper and a crack in the dash. I was only asking $2200 and it took me 4 months to get rid of it.

If you're in love with the cars and can't afford an LS1 you might go for it.

good shape decent miles its a steal, im a dealer. The v6 does blow gasket frequently, tend to leak from odd place and people get them hot.
