Best Sounding Budget Exhaust?
I'm looking to replace the stock exhaust with something that has a good tone at WOT and a nice, not too loud, idle. I'm not looking to spend a fortune. I was looking at borla mufflers and like their sound. Any suggestions? I'm not too crazy about the LM1...my friend has it.

If your car is stock the lm1 is great,I loved it way back when my car was stock, honest imo that's the best budget exhaust ,you can pick one up for 150 ,200 bucks, and you can always swap out the resonator for a borla or magnaflow, what's your set up now? If its in your sig my phone doesn't bring it up

I have LM1, with a cutout in place of the resonator, on stock mani/cats and its quiet most of the time, WOT is loud but nothing crazy, I don't even think with LT's it will be unbearably loud. Idle is quiet, 60-70 on the highway does drone b/c I drive with the cutout always open. Also I got it for 170 off tech, just watch for a good deal.

Just bolt up a sweet thunder muffler or a powerstick to your y pipe and dump it right before the axel. Will sound good and you won't have to worry about crooked tips.
Everyone has suggested a lm1 when he said he didn't care for it because his buddy had one and the tsp rumbler is the same thing except with a dynomax bullet instead is a resonator. Does anyone actually read what the op's here are asking for?

I don't blame you for not wanting the Loudmouth; my wife had it on her Z28 and I didn't care for the part-throttle rasp and highway drone, even with stock manifolds and cats.
So does the TSP Rumbler catback sound anything like the Loudmouth? Anybody here actually have one? Can't beat $250 brand new.
