Default Picked up another one!

Just picked up another LS4 W Body - 2006 Grand Prix GXP. Has aftermarket wheels on it, not sure what brand they are. Also came with the Alcoa's too. Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet. They are in very good condition.

Car's unmodded, but of course that will change! Left over Cartuning parts from my upgrades to the Monte Carlo (upgrades are - 76mm Turbo, 3" downpipe, Cartuning rear manifold) will make for a nice non-intercooled version to go on this one! Let's see, 66mm Turbo - check, Cartuning crossover - check, Cartuning down pipe - check, meth injection - check, LS1 MAF - check, Trans-Go Shift kit - check, HS 1.8 rocker arms - check. Glad I held on to these parts!

It should of last year, but with the season changing around here and track conditions deteriorating I couldn't pull it off. This year, it will do it easily. Just waiting for the parts to be finished up by Cartuning.

Couple of reasons. Essentially this replaces my wives 05 Malibu. Needed a four door and driveable in the winter for her occasional use. That put the GTO off the list. Most of the time we drive my company vehicle (Escape Hybrid). Would have liked to have picked up a G8 GT, but they are still a little too much money. Bonneville GXP is nice, but the Northstar is pretty much unmoddable and untuneable. So all these LS4 parts gathering dust needed a home. Last reason, stick with what you know and what you can expect to go wrong. Result = GP GXP.

Funny! The Monte Carlo really is just a toy, not a daily driver.

I plan to take them off in the next few days to clean the inside of them. I'll see if there are any markings or model number. The owner said he got them from Kan Rock Tire and bought them because he didn't like that he couldn't rotate the stock wheels.

Here they are, not sure if this is the correct offset, but assuming it is:
