Default True duals complete. X-pipe into Loudmouth II mufflers.. :D

Finished my true dual exhaust finally. Got a 3" Lawson brand x-pipe into dual SLP Loudmouth II mufflers, dumped after muffler. I currently have no exhaust tips, but I think I will keep the mufflers dumped and go back to have some dummy Corsa clone tips put in.

Got some videos today, but my camera can't pick up sound that well.. The dual LM2s are actually much quieter than I was expecting. Everyone says duals are way too loud, but I found a perfect combo here. It has a nice smooth tone through the rpm range, and is a perfect blend of tone, flow, and loudness. The videos cannot do it justice. I definitely approve of dual LM2s. I do not think I have found anyone with dual LM2s yet..

I had a Loudmouth II catback, and bought a spare LM2 muffler, so just added them together. Sounds way better than any other exhaust setup I've had.

Damn, I love your bird! Sounds good and nice video giving the overall perspective. Not as raspy as I though it would sound.

I had dual LM2's and switched to dual LM1's and never looked back. My advice, don't EVER scrap them on anything. If you do and crack the internal ceramic packing and bend up the internal baffle you will get a nasty chirping in the exhaust thats just embarrassing. Happened to me and thats why I got rid of them. Don't get me wrong they sound great just hope you never accidently scrap them.....

Thanks guys! I've changed exhaust so much, I think I found with what I'm sticking with..

And Pheonix, thanks for that tip. I'll do what I can. I think dual LM1s will be just a little too loud for what I'm looking for! haha. I have way more ground clearance than I did before, so I should be good for awhile, at least.

The cam is a great cam. It's had a fair share of kills. Definitely a very street friendly DD cam, with great power through the whole RPM range. I recommend it to anyone for a stock head car that needs power everywhere and not just at 6500+. However, when I get some ported LS6 heads, I will be pulling it to get a custom cam, slightly bigger to make the most of the heads.

It's definitely deep, but not extremely. The camera phones lack of good sound pickup is not helping I'm sure!

Sounds good. I wonder how it would sound with a pair of high flow cats.

I've been contemplating some cats for awhile, just to get rid of the smell. I hate sitting in a drive-thru with no cats!

^Definitely get some videos when you're done, I'd like to hear the difference in the cats. I think my x-pipe will make a different tone also as compared to other xpipes..

^Haha. I could imagine sitting at a drive-thru window, open my door and spray some Febreze under my car and seeing the look at the guy's face
