Default Replacing gauge cluster

If I replace my gauge cluster, what happens to the cars mileage read out?
Stay same as was on orignal unit, or reads whats on the replacement unit.
Another words, does mileage stay same for the CAR or change?

It will read what the new gauge says. I believe you can take it down to a dealership to have it switched.

Default Replacing T/A gauge cluster

Here's the deal. 98 gauges won't work in later cars. 99-02 interchangable.
The total mileage stays with the gauge cluster, not the car computer.

Correct, there was a difference in the wiring, you could do the research and rewire it, but it would be easier to find one form the year models.
