Talking

If I remember right, Colonel went some mid 10's on 17 drag radials.

I've been 11.865 @ 112.93 (1.590) Stock Internals, in full drive it to work mode

I remember reading along time ago that Big Daddy went a 9.7 on 275/40/17 BFG's. That was in his 9.3 days on good tires .

I think Colonel was on 16" drag radials, stock Z28 wheels. He went 10.89 or something, at around 127 mph I believe. NA on the 422ci.

I ran 11.1 @ 130 on 17" drag radials, back when I had heads/cam/nitrous. It was actually the first 6-speed to break 130 mph on the net. The rearend blew up on the next pass, I was trying to be the first in the 10s on DR's haha

Wow!!! 130mph is nothing to sneeze at on 17 inch DR's. Plus, its good to be the first

I pulled 11.0 at 128+ on 315-17 BFG DR in a 1990 vette, 383 + 100 shot with 4 speed auto and 3.33 gears (completely street car, full weight, stock size tires up front, 400lb driver, stereo, pump gas, original D port heads P&P'd, full exhaust, etc.). On teh bigger shot and 3.73's with poly suspension I imagine I could have gone quite a bit faster. I bet there is someone out there that has hit a high 9 on 17 BFG's.
