Default Not an LSX but solid numbers

2001 lightning
stock bottom end, stock heads, stock cams
stiegemeier snake bite kit, stock pulleys. boost ended up beeing 16.5
bbk twin 65mm tbody
dynatech 1 5/8 longtubes with high flow cats
magnaflow cat back
circle d 2800 stall triple lock up clutch
lightning force valve body

un corrected numbers ended up being 442 whp and 528 foot pounds (it was like 40 degrees out)
corrected numbers were 421 whp and 497 foot pounds

ended up de tuning it slightly, it was running out of injector a little after 4500 rpm and the stock maf was pegged.

next up is a maf, 60 pound injectors and a set of ed curtis cams(allready in the process of being built)

sucks this motor is on borowed time now. seems like it could do even better, but i guess the weak little rods cant handle it.

went 12.9 at almost 106 last nitgh at NED on 20 inch falken street tires. nice set of tires with the maf and injectors and bump the shift points up over 4500 and this thing should be pretty decent

If you are pegging the MAF, you will ending using the pre-programmed
load values, ie the SD INFERRED LOAD table. That table is setup for a stock vehicle. You could in theory, unplug the MAF, and use this table to tune the engine. You would need to turn off adaptive learning first. You could turn the MAF back on when done tuning.

If you have turned up the boost, turn down the max MAF RPM voltage checkpoint. If you have exceeded the max voltage the pcm thinks you should at this RPM(usually 4500) in fords, you will end up in
SD mode. Turn it down to 1000 or so.

BTW, nice numbers.

i had to read this a few times but i follow ur point. thats not a bad idea and was not aware of this. only thing is the sct livewire cant do this right. i dont have the sct laptop sowftware. the tuner added a second file in the livewire for when we get the maf and injectors to run it safely so we can bring it back to the dyno.
